Does a proxy permanently change my device's real IP address?
No. A proxy affects only the traffic sent through it, and the destination normally sees the proxy exit IP. Traffic that bypasses the proxy still uses the original network path, and incomplete browser, application, or protocol settings can expose other network information.
Is a larger IP pool always better?
Not necessarily. Pool size describes the number of addresses available for scheduling. Region coverage, availability, rotation rules, concurrency limits, address quality, and compatibility with the destination also matter.
Should a first-time user start with a dynamic or static proxy?
Consider a static or session-sticky option when a login, stable environment, or longer continuous session matters. Consider rotation when you need broader address or regional coverage and distributed requests. Confirm the choice against the destination's rules and a representative test.
